Villa spa in Marrakech

In a villa the constraint is no longer space but scheduling. We come with several therapists if needed, set up by the pool or in a salon, and run treatments back to back for a group across one afternoon. Palmeraie, Amelkis, Targa, Ourika road.

Organising treatments for a group

The most common case is a group of six to ten people renting a villa for a few days who want to fit massages into one afternoon. Two therapists working in parallel handle about eight people in four hours, in one-hour sessions. With three therapists, the same day absorbs a dozen people without anyone waiting long.

What makes it run smoothly is setting the order in advance rather than on the day. We propose a simple running order once you tell us the number of people and the start time. Everyone then knows when to come, and the rest of the group is at the pool in the meantime.

By the pool, or indoors

Outdoors is tempting, and it works well in the morning before the sun is high, or late in the afternoon. You need stable shade: a parasol that has to be moved every twenty minutes is not enough, a pergola or a tree is. Wind matters too, particularly in the Palmeraie where it often picks up towards evening.

Indoors is more reliable in summer. A salon with gentle air conditioning, or simply a through-draught, gives a better treatment than a terrace at thirty-eight degrees. We look at the villa with you and tell you honestly what will work best that day.

One piece of advice that comes up often: get out of the pool about twenty minutes before the treatment and dry off properly. Skin that is still wet and chlorinated takes oil badly, and the massage slides instead of holding.

What the distance changes

Villas are usually outside the centre: Palmeraie to the north, Amelkis or the Ourika road to the south, Targa to the west. These are all within our usual areas and pose no difficulty, but the journey is longer, which matters for a last-minute booking.

If your villa is further out still, send the request with the address anyway. We check every case by hand and give you a clear answer rather than leaving you to guess.

Frequently asked questions

How many therapists for a group of ten?

Two therapists cover ten people in about five hours with one-hour sessions. Three do the same in a little over three hours. The choice depends mostly on how much of the day you want to give it.

Can you do a hammam in a villa?

Yes, as long as there is a wet room with hot water and a floor that tolerates moisture. Many newer villas have large bathrooms that suit it perfectly, and some have a built hammam already.

Do we need to provide anything for the therapists?

Nothing in particular, beyond somewhere to set down the equipment and some water. We bring tables, linen and products. For a long group session, a shaded corner for breaks is appreciated.

Our villa is outside the listed areas, is that possible?

Often yes. The eight neighbourhoods shown are our usual areas, not a hard boundary. Send the full address in the request: we check and give you a straight yes or no.
