In-room hotel massage in Marrakech

A therapist comes to your room with everything needed, sets up in fifteen minutes, and leaves no trace. It is the format most requested by travellers who get back late, have an early flight, or simply do not want to go out again.

How it works with reception

Most Marrakech hotels accept in-room wellbeing providers, but each has its own habits. Some simply ask that the guest gives notice, others record identification at the door, and a few high-end properties prefer the provider to use a service entrance.

The simplest thing is to give us the hotel name when you book. We usually know what is expected, and where we do not, we call ahead. You should not have to negotiate it yourself on the day, in a corridor, in a dressing gown.

If your hotel runs its own spa, be aware that some exclusivity agreements bar outside providers. It is uncommon but it happens. We will tell you plainly rather than leave you in an awkward position on arrival.

Space in a standard room

A normal double room is enough. We rarely move more than a coffee table or a chair, and we put everything back. The massage table usually goes at the foot of the bed or near the window, depending on light and space.

In a particularly small room, or one with two double beds filling the floor, we can work on a mattress laid on the ground instead. Just tell us the layout if you are unsure: one line in the notes field is enough.

The right moment in a travel day

Two slots come up again and again. The first is late afternoon, between getting back from sightseeing and dinner: the day's walking is still in your legs, and the treatment sets you up for the evening.

The second is late, from 9pm, when the day is done and all that is left is sleep. It is the best choice the night before an early flight or after a long excursion, because there is nothing to do afterwards but go to bed.

Frequently asked questions

Can the hotel refuse?

It is rare but possible, particularly at a property running its own spa under an exclusivity agreement. Give us the hotel name when booking: if we know there is a restriction, we tell you before confirming rather than on arrival.

Does the therapist arrive in uniform?

No. Arrival is in neutral clothing with the equipment in a closed carry bag. Nothing in the lobby or the lift signals what the visit is for.

Can we book for two different rooms?

Yes, either back to back or in parallel depending on how many therapists are free for that slot. Mention it in the request: it is common for families and groups travelling together.

What if my flight is very early the next day?

The 9pm or 10pm slot exists for exactly that. The treatment ends, you go to bed, and there is no journey to plan. It is often the best use of a last evening in Marrakech.
