Service areas in Marrakech

We visit eight neighbourhoods: Médina, Guéliz, Hivernage, Palmeraie, Agdal, Targa, Amelkis, Route de l’Ourika. These are our usual areas, not a strict boundary. If your address is not among them, send it anyway: every request is checked by hand.

The centre and the medina

The medina is where we work most, and it is also where precision matters most. The derbs are narrow, often with no visible name, and the car stops a long way from the door. Give the riad name rather than the street name: that is what makes arrival reliable.

Gueliz and Hivernage are far simpler: wide streets, numbered addresses, hotels with a proper reception. These are the areas where a last-minute booking is most likely to work, because the journey is short and predictable.

The outer areas

The Palmeraie, to the north, is where the villas and garden hotels are. Distances are longer there and addresses sometimes vague: a location shared from your phone beats the name of a lane.

Agdal, Targa, Amelkis and the Ourika road cover the south and west. These are residential areas, mostly villas and gated developments. They are within our usual coverage, but an appointment within the hour is less realistic than in the centre.

If your address is not on the list

Send it. The list describes where we go every day, not a line beyond which we refuse on principle. A slightly out-of-the-way address is often possible, sometimes with a travel supplement stated at confirmation.

What we will not do is leave you guessing. You get a clear answer, yes or no, before you commit to anything.

Frequently asked questions

How do I know which neighbourhood I am staying in?

It is a question many travellers genuinely cannot answer, and that is normal. In the form, the location button uses your phone's position to suggest the closest neighbourhood, which you can correct. You can also simply answer that you are not sure.

Do you travel outside Marrakech?

Occasionally, for nearby addresses on the Ourika or Amizmiz roads. Beyond that it depends on distance and time of day. Send the address and we will answer honestly rather than leave you hoping.

Is there a surcharge depending on the area?

Not for the eight listed neighbourhoods: the standard price applies. For an address considerably further out, a travel supplement may be added, and it is stated before you confirm.

Does arrival time change by area?

Yes. In the medina, Gueliz or Hivernage a soon-ish slot is often possible. In the Palmeraie, Amelkis or on the Ourika road, allow more margin, especially during heavy traffic.
