No reception, so access is up to you
In a hotel, reception guides the therapist to your door. In an apartment, that job is yours: the exact address, the building or residence name, the floor, the door number and the entry code if there is one. The more precise this is in the request, the quicker the arrival.
Key-box check-ins and codes sometimes change during a stay. Check the day's code before the appointment, and keep your phone close in the ten minutes before.
Choosing the room
The folding table is about one metre eighty-five long. In an apartment the living room is almost always the best room, with the coffee table pushed against a wall. The bedroom works if there is room on both sides of the bed.
Think of the neighbours if the building is poorly soundproofed: a massage is silent, but background music from a phone is less so. Close street-side windows in the evening, especially in Guéliz and Hivernage.
What the apartment does not need
You have nothing to provide: the table, linen, towels and oils come with the therapist, and the rental's linen is never used. A power socket is only needed for the hot stone massage.
The one useful thing is a bathroom, for a shower afterwards if you like. For a private Moroccan hammam, a walk-in shower or a bathtub is enough.

Frequently asked questions
Does my Airbnb's house rules forbid visitors?
Some listings limit outside visitors. A one-hour massage is not usually a problem, but if in doubt, ask your host before booking.
Can we have a duo massage in an apartment?
Yes, if the living room has space for two tables, about three metres by three. Otherwise two massages one after the other work just as well.
Do you come to every area?
To the eight neighbourhoods on our map, from the medina to the Ourika road. Most apartments are in Guéliz, Hivernage and Agdal.
Does the therapist leave the apartment tidy?
Yes. The equipment is folded away, the linen leaves with the therapist, and any furniture moved is put back if you like.
