A technique of lightness
Unlike firm massages, the draining massage uses very little pressure. The hands move slowly up from the feet to the thighs, then from the hands to the shoulders, following the direction of circulation. The stroke is even, almost monotonous, and it is that regularity that leaves you feeling light at the end.
It is a wellness massage inspired by drainage, not medical lymphatic drainage, which is a matter for a health professional. For legs tired by heat or a long journey, it is more than enough.
Cedar oil
Cedar grows in the Middle and High Atlas, north and east of Marrakech. Its oil has a discreet woody scent and a cooling feel that suits warm legs at the end of the day.
If you dislike strong scents or your skin reacts easily, ask for a neutral oil. The massage is otherwise identical.
Thirty minutes, for the legs alone
The short format, the light-legs massage, starts at the feet and works up to the thighs. It is designed for the end of a day in town or the day after a flight, when it is mostly the lower body that feels heavy.
It is easy to add to another treatment, a manicure or a facial for example, or to have on its own before dinner without giving it the whole evening.

Frequently asked questions
Does the draining massage help you lose weight?
No. It makes legs feel lighter and can ease a temporary swelling caused by heat or travel, but it is not a slimming treatment and we do not present it as one.
Is it suitable during pregnancy?
For mothers-to-be we offer the prenatal massage, which is gentler and uses no essential oil. It also relieves the legs and lower back.
How many sessions are needed?
One session is enough to feel better during a stay. It is not a course of treatment, and there is nothing to follow up.
Can I have it after the pool?
Yes, after a shower. Skin coming out of chlorinated water or a long time in the sun welcomes the oil, as long as there is no sunburn.
